"These murder club meetings are becoming a regular thing. We need a new name, though"

You should definitely try this out if you're into YA Mystery. This is the first one I've ever read but I can assure you it was worth it! The whole 'who-dunnit' scenario, the suspense, kept me hooked to it. It's one of the books that you once start reading will be so absorbed into that you'll not put it down!

Basically, this book talks about how 4 high school students were framed as murderers for the sake of revenge. It all started when due to a weird reason 5 landed into detention while only 4 of them could make it out alive.

'Everybody's got secrets,' he says. 'Right?'

Each of the 4 suspected have secrets, both small and big. Who could be the murderer? Is it the brain Bronwyn, the criminal Nate, the princess Addy, or the jock Cooper?

The book has a gripping language, great characters, an intriguing mystery that has a tight-knit plot altogether with a very unique twist of turns and events which doesn't fail to entertain you, Karen M. McManus makes sure that the characters don't disappoint. The fact that we saw each character growing made it absolutely wonderful. Also, the book is written with the point of view of all the ones suspected helps us to see each side of the story and the other side of each person and get into their head as well, which in turn makes us suspect at least each of them once.

It was truly an emotional roller coaster ride and the character development was just amazing! You should definitely check it out if you're into YA physiological thrillers!
