2 Best Books to Read by Roald Dahl!
Reading is a great habit that every child must spend time in at least 15 minutes a day. It is a great way of expanding your knowledge learning new things and being productive. It develops our thinking skills, helps us build our vocabulary, and much more. Reading with friends, elder siblings, parents, or grandparents can also be a very nice activity that not only keeps your brain healthy and stress-free but also makes your bonding as a family much stronger.
Here are some of the books I feel if read together will make you feel not only delighted but also make your bonding a rather special one:
1. Matilda
Title: Matilda
Author: Roald Dahl
Illustrator: Quentin Blake
For ages: 7-12
Genre: Kids Fiction
Matilda, I'd say is a great book for any age. Once you pick it up you will be so hooked to it that you may read it all at once. This was the very first book by the author Roald Dahl that I read which already made me a fan and lead me to read more of his wonderful works such as Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, Fantastic Mr.Fox and much more.
Matilda's parents have called her some terrible things. The truth is that she's a genius and they're the stupid ones. Matilda is determined to get her own back and soon discovers she has a very special power.
This book to me is a very special one that calms me down. It taught me many lessons such as each one has a special power Matilda's was her explained in the book, ours maybe dancing, writing or singing. Everyone has one and it's just that we need to figure it out.
Now, to read about her power you need to grab the book and be the part of this wonderful journey of the little girl.
A little sneak peek now☺️
"There began to creep over Matilda a most extraordinary and peculiar feeling..."
Get on this amazing roller coaster named Matilda and enjoy your journey!

2. The BFG
Title: The BFG
Author: Roald Dahl
Illustrator: Quentin Blake
For ages: 7-10
Genre: Kids Fantasy
"If you can think of anything more terrifying than that happening to you in the middle of the night, then let's hear about it"
This story is one of the most interesting ones, I remember reading it every day before bed. It talks about friendship, helping one another, and is a fun-to-read book!
Beautifully woven fantasy which takes you to another world where exist no humans but giants, all but one nasty, fearsome, ugly, fifty feet long brutes!
This is the story of The BFG aka The Big Friendly Giant, a 24-foot giant who only eats snozzcumbers and glugs frobscottle. BFG lives up to his name being kind, caring, loving, and really friendly as the name suggests.
The little girl Sophie awake in the witching hour had no idea that she had a new adventure her way. The protagonist is a mature girl for her age who acts pretty wise and thinks well before she does something. A beautiful story with a lot of wonderful lessons that may not only speculate the little ones but also elders.
Roald Dahl is my favorite author forever!!
